I am one of the founding members of Davidson, Holland, Whitesell & Co., PLLC ("DHW"). I obtained my bachelors degree in Accountancy from Wake Forest University. In addition to my management responsibilities of DHW's two offices in Hickory, NC and Cary, NC, I assist businesses in optimizing cash flows and profits. I also advise clients regarding the proper selection and use of technology.

Due in part to my extensive background in healthcare, manufacturing, technology, and cost accounting, I help businesses locate their less profitable cost centers and product lines. Once the problems are identified, I recommend a plan of action to improve profits with better information systems and real-time feedback.

I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. I am also a Certified Information Technology Professional, a designation bestowed upon CPAs who are also especially competent in the technological aspects of our business world.

In 2000, I was recognized as the Catawba County Small Business Person of the Year, awarded by the Catawba County Chamber of Commerce. I earned this prestigious award due to my innovativeness and successes in helping to make DHW one of the premier CPA firms in Catawba County and in North Carolina.
