I am a tax principal in the Hickory office and have been with the firm sixteen years.  I am a 1993 Cum Laude graduate from Appalachian State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.  During my career with DHW, I have gained experience in tax matters concerning corporations, S-corporations, individuals, partnerships, and limited liability companies.  In 1995, I became involved in the firms employee benefit plan practice.  I now handle all aspects of the firm’s benefit plan engagements, including planning, coordinating, and reviewing audits and Form 5500’s that are prepared by the firm.

I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.  I am also active in the community as a member of the Board of Directors for the Christian Women's Job Corps, and have served as treasurer of the Hickory Soup Kitchen, the Granite Falls Business and Professional Women's Club, and the Granite Falls Kiwanis Club.
